The reason I have only quoted up to Nov 1st is because the figures for 'Deaths By Date of Death' take a few days to be collated, and so there is a time lag before they can be considered accurate, OC has already pointed this out, I thought you would have been aware of it as well. Worry not, there is no hiding place, I will revisit the figures again, I check them every day, and if there is a rapid increase it will become evident, at the moment the figures don't show it. According to the Gov.uk figures deaths in the last seven days (up to November 6th) were 2246 - up 588 in a week. That is a 35.5% rise in a week.
For me that is a rapid rise.

These figures are from the Gov.uk website, which you quoted from using last weeks data.

Check the link below - I didn't invent the figures. If you dispute them then don't blame me - go on the Gov.uk-Mad website and put them right
