A couple of reasons to be cheerful.....

Ok we lost 1-0 today against a decent Spurs team who look the business this year. But:

We are one of five teams who are relegation fodder this year - Brighton, Burnley, Sheff Utd, Fulham and ourselves. I see no reason why we can’t finish above three of these teams. I think 30 points could easily be enough to survive this year.

At last we are showing some fight. Although his hand was forced today, Bilic must surely see that a team with Pereira, Diangana and Krov all starting is too lightweight for the Prem. Gallagher is a class act and will only get better. Robinson and Grant look a threat. Johnstone is doing ok in goal. Just wish Bilic would make peace with Gibbs and Grosicki - just makes no sense to keep ignoring them.

Agree with most of this. Pathetic how Gibbs and Grosicki are not in the line up ( clashes like this are for kids )
Johnstone plays a blinder when we are s hit but loses us points when we play well!! Johnstone is a good shot stopper but still the worst keeper seen for a long time with his poor positioning and dithering coming off his line. Ben Foster is a different class to Johnstone and still is now!! Would Foster have dithered on making a decision like this? No! There’s the answer!

Good team performance and commitment today but Johnstone has cost us - it’s that simple!

It was great to see us play with aggression and confidence, and we didn’t deserve to lose, but our lack of investment will be the thing that lets us down, we had a distinct lack of quality up front, I don’t think Grant or Robinson will score enough to keep us up.
However there is the Welsh International to come back😂

Certainly some positives listening to the match. I understand that Kane managed to engineer a free header for his goal ? No doubt there will be some replays to dissect.
Last minute disappointment to lose, but we need to accentuate the positives, particularly the effort / energy.

The effort was certainly there Prando and Gallagher in my mind was best player again as he controlled the middle. The lack of quality though will ultimately kill us - if only we had Ben Foster and more quality up front!!

Forget Grosicki, he won't play for us again, nothing to do with Slav, he has been sold by the board the same as Heghazi was.
If it was me i wouldn't put up with it, i would have walked.
