Annie Lennox is a very good shout Mick. My wife always says really attractive people still look attractive when they don't make the most of themselves. She puts Annie into that category.
Annie actually went out of her way to look the opposite of ***y.
Janis Joplin was never classed as beautiful but there was definitely ***ual appeal there.
Grace Slick was arguably the most stunningly beautiful singer ever, but she became old gracefully, she is eighty now and a proper little old lady.
Still totally rebellious though.

Ah yes, Grace Slick, standard bearer for late 1960’s California rock scene, ‘The Summer of Love’. There is an amusing quote of Gracie’s from a performance at the Chicago Auditorium in 1973; Jefferson Airplane were doing their warm up when somebody in the audience called out, “....hey Gracie, take off your chastity belt”! She looked at him and replied “Hey, I don’t even wear underpants’, I pull my skirt up for a beaver shot and the audience explodes with laughter.
