Thought you were taking the wotsit, Egyptian...but it seems the odds on Rafa have been slashed from 25/1 to 4/1 overnight.
Have to imagine that Benitez would only be interested in us if the takeover is a) a nailed on certainty and b) going to involve massive investment.

Any price paid for the club will go to Mel. That won't aid the club and it's lack of funds. How can the new owners pump extra into the club? Last time I asked the question, GP came up with Stadium (Name) Sponsorship. Could we get them to sponsor and rename Moor Farm as well? Any amount for that sponsorship would have to be seen as proportionate to the EFL.

The club put the following statement out on FB [quote] Following discussions between the board and the club’s new investors, the formal process for identifying the next manager of Derby County is underway [unquote]

Note it says "investors" and not "owners". Does this mean Khaled is only buying a % of the club?
