Another one who when younger was a looker but now looks not unlike Charlie Dimmock's twin sister these days is Judy Tzuke.

Judy Tzuke very nearly made my top ten mate........loved “Stay with me till dawn” and her look back in 79 on the clip below.

Check the clip at the bottom though, she hasn’t aged well although her voice is still terrific.

If I was to delve into my “substitutes” a much underrated singer would feature on my list and a great looking girl back in 73 when she sang this song “Amorreuse”......Kiki Dee.

She’s actually worn pretty well I think.

Given what you posted about Geen Stefani; funnily enough I saw Wendy James on the London Underground while travelling across London and heading for a bus connection towards Woolwich hospital back in '89.

I think it's fair to say she'd had a busy evening the night before but she still looked great. Doesn't look to have aged very well at all from that picture...... probably too many busy evenings the night before.
