    Rock Chicks.

Kets mentioned this the other day.

Some of the best looking women in music have been much more Pop than Rock I guess so let’s concentrate on who had the “look” regardless of their exact genre.

For me, my top ten are.......

    Debbie Harry

    Souxsie Soux

    Chrissie Hynde

    Suzanna Hoffs of The Bangles

    Stevie Nicks

    Carly Simon

    Kate Bush

Gwen Stefani ( I shared a lift with her at our hotel in NY and she was gobsmackingly beautiful in the flesh.

    Sara Dallin of Bananarama

Nena of 99 Red Ballons fame.

Grace Slick, as I recounted in the other thread, she really was a ‘bad’ girl of rock. She admitted that she had a penchant for bass players but certainly not exclusively!

Chrissy Hynde, her autobiography is well worth a read.

Linda Ronstadt, truly great singer, whether rock or country.

Emmylou Harris, one of my all time favourites.

Sheryl Crow, great performer, saw her in Birmingham a couple of years ago, a sensational gig.

Kim Wilde, Imelda May, Stevie Nicks all well worthy of being in the ‘list’!

Also worth checking out is Orianthe, look up the YouTube performance of Alice Cooper on Jools Holland ‘Later’, she was a guitarist in his band.

Not a singer but who remembers Stacia who used to perform naked on the stage with Hawkwind?

Another one who when younger was a looker but now looks not unlike Charlie Dimmock's twin sister these days is Judy Tzuke.

Marianne Faithfull was quite something in her prime, I guess that’s why Jagger went after her. Joan Baez, wonderful singer and according to her own words, was very promiscuous back in the 60’s and 70’s!
