I see loads of people wearing them over their mouth but not their nose for instance.

Is it safe to use them again once they have been washed?

How long can we wear them before we either chuck them or wash them?

Surely this should be part of the hands-face-space public service information that must be costing a fortune?
Guidance on how to wear them correctly has been in the public domain since before the first lockdown ended 59, it's been discussed on here and I know I have on more than one occasion explained how they should be worn according to government advice. I can remember pointing out the absolute futility of expecting the public to wash their hands before putting one on, then not touching it, and washing their hands after removing it. It just isn't going to happen, it's not even remotely likely, so what we have is a situation where millions of people are roaming shops and supermarkets with potentially contaminated masks and after tugging at or adjusting their mask, potentially contaminated fingers. Which is why I keep well away from anyone wearing a mask. I'm not being pedantic or dogmatic about it, I know what the advice is on how to wear them safely, and I know this cannot be done by members of the public, so I keep clear of mask wearers for my own safety.
