If you are already a Mad moderator there's a board (like this one) for chat/asking/answering questions. Unfortunately I'm still waiting on an answer to my concerns about Y2K TBH I'm not sure how the Mad network is still alive as it seems the cupboard is bare when it comes to anyone caring for and feeding it.

I believe each FM site has appointed administrator(s) and they are the ones who have 'the power' to grant moderation rights. At one point Frog and me were in a position that we needed to modify threads long after they had been opened and the only way for us to be able to do that was to give us moderation rights. The admins did so and then eventually moved on to pastures new leaving us holding the baby.

The good cause is FootyMad Christmas do that's not been held since Deano and BigRich left. Seriosly though I know Bigrish owns the demain dor the site so hopefully FootyMad are paying his costs.
