Hmmm .... a bit harsh tae single out Taylor ... Ah thought he looked like one of our better players on the day.

Ah well, my decision to give this as wide a berth as possible fully vindicated. No surprise there.

Didn't watch any of it, wont watch any clips or highlights, wont lose any sleep over it.

Yes we had a load of players missing, but all this shows is that the fabled strongest "squad" in ages really isnt that strong.

This is it for us from now on, chasing shadows against the uglies with absolutely no hope of ever changing things or challenging thanks to Milne.

He'll be fuuckin delighted of course as this is what's best for Scottish fitba.

No ST this season for me & I havent missed it in the slightest. AfC would have to work very hard to ever convince me to get another one tbh.

One things for sure, the return to the tedious duopoly - facilitated front and centre by AFC (& I dont blame Cormack at all for this by the way) means its very unlikely to happen.

I've got way better things to do than pish away my time and money on this pointless guff anymore.

That was my point really, and it’s really sad, I hope it changes.

    McInnes out!

Spot on as usual Moog,Milne had the chance to change things and sooked up to the Tims and didnt want to upset the huns hence the "need a strong rangers p!sh" We're back to where we were pre 2012 and we only have Milne to blame for that

Milne isn’t in charge now so the ball is in Cormack’s court. It’s up to him and his American backers to give us belief that we are not just here to make up the numbers. The new training facilities, financial help during these times etc are grateful but the hardest decision they have is how as a club we go forward. Do we want to be nearly men or do we want to take the next step.
Every one of us knows McInnes is done as our club manager and lacks tactical knowledge during big matches. We need our new chairman to prove he has balls to make this club better and not use it for a bit limelight. The honeymoon period is over...let’s get down to business.

As I said earlier in this thread, "whatever happens" you cant really blame DM for yesterday.
Yes I am nae his biggest fan and would be very happy to see the back of him sooner rather than later, but to be fair he pretty much put out the strongest starting 11 that was available to him, with perhaps the exception it should have been Campbell of Ojo and I will argue Main for Cosgrove.
But again I don't really blame DM for that sh1te yesterday. But I do blame the useless chunts of so called professional football players that took the park, fkn pathetic performance with what seemed to be no heart and no effort and pretty much limited in any footballing at all whatsoever with the exception of perhaps Hedges and maybe Taylor (but only fkn just) this all goes to show how "strong" a squad (nae laughing at the back) we really have.
Utter pathetic performance, Accies will be seriously fancying their chances for Wednesday night now if they watched any of that cr@p

I found myself with more important ways of spending my Sunday than watching or listening to that drivel. I only saw the score late in the afternoon and haven’t attempted to see any highlights as I presume there aren’t any for those of a red persuasion.
At full strength we would’ve given them a game but even then we are without McCrorie. I don’t think we will see anything better than 3rd/4th in the league and a cup semi ( possibly a final defeat ) as long as DM remains in charge .
Having not witnessed any of the game I can’t comment on the performance but it does sound like we were up against it from the off due to the missing players , thanks SFA, and injuries. I don’t hold DM responsible for that but I do think decisions have to be made soon if Cormack wants to be ambitious and keep the fans onside. 3rd or 4th and a good cup run might be ok after years of mediocrity but right now it’s a sign we’ve plateaued out some years ago.

Despite the result I thought it was less embarrassing than the first game at Pittodrie. What boils my p1ss is we knew we were short (out) of central mid field players and yet Campbell is left on the bench - sure he's just back from injury but he's not a regular pick anyway?!
We were always going to be up against it and didn't get a lot of luck (when do you ever at Mordor) but how many bookings did we pick up? I would expect some dummy spitting rather than resignation. More upset with the likes of Hoban - we know Taylor and Considine are equine but he is experienced AND can play should have been screaming at his team mates.
Finally I thought Cosgrove made some decent runs and linked well with Hedges once or twice. Edmonson did little and would have been better sacrificed for a mid field player or put in goals where his erse would have filled a decent percentage of it.
It should hurt them more than it hurts us and I am not convinced that is the case.

Milne might be gone min, but trust me, we’re reaping the whirlwind of his spineless fuuckwittery - as is the rest of Scottish fitba.

Getting rid of McInnes winna make a blind bit of difference to our situation versus the uglies. You could put Pep or Fergie in charge and they wouldn’t get near them in current circumstances.

The only things that could change the current situation would be for Cormack and his pals to start putting minimum £50m a year into the club every year, & be willing to write it off. Nae happening and nobody expects that.

    Or,

We change the fundamental structure of Scottish football by having the ability to change things like shared gate receipts, income distribution, TV game guidelines, summer football etc.

We cannot do that because it all needs an 11-1 vote to change these things.

The uglies always vote together so nothing that could in anyway impact them or heaven forbid, increase competition is allowed.

If only we had some way to change that voting structure - but guess what, you need an 11-1 vote to change the 11-1 vote so it’s never changing.

What do you mean we had the chance to change that a few years ago?

    Surely not?

No diddy club or chairman would pass on an opportunity to wrest control of the game away from the uglies surely?

Step forward Stewart Milne and an action that was the darkest, most shameful & embarrassing thing I have ever seen associated with AFC.

I like Cormack. I like his passion, commitment, communication, transparency, efforts to improve things for the fans & his demonstrable willingness to put his money where his mouth is.

I bet he’s as disgusted with Milne as I am - he just can’t say it. Mind you I have no idea why he lets that fuuckin gype stay on his board. That’s one criticism I have of him.

I’d like to get behind Cormack and put my time & money into his club, but frankly the events since 2012 have absolutely destroyed most of the passion and enthusiasm I had for AFC and Scotland - I didn’t get particularly excited by Scotland’s Euros qualification either.

I can’t see anyway in the current circumstances I’ll ever get that enthusiasm back, & sadly thanks to Milne, I don’t think there is anything Cormack can do about that either.
