And if Ardley is incapable of delivering this, he will be replaced, and Notts County will find others that will fulfill the dream

"Stop trying to blame Alan Hardy, for Ardleys shockingly poor management skills when he relegated us"

I'm not. I'm blaming him for sacking Nolan, wasting huge money on Kewell, and then appointing Ardley.

That's not unreasonable is it? It's something you blissfully continue to ignore.

I do understand the difference between 3rd and 21st both don't get you promoted but that's where the similarity ends for me.

If we had finished 21st last season you would have got your wish of no more Ardley and a new manager.

You will have to be a little more patient.

So what has that got to do with Ardley, he accepted the job with nearly 30 games to go, and failed miserably ,in fairness you could say that Alan Hardy takes blame for appointing him , but many business take on poor hires , then sack them if they are incompetent , as Ardley so was

This is what i mean about Ardley just doing enough to keep his job, he is never really bad, ( not near relegation) but never really good either , shows promise for a few games, before blowing it again..

I for one thing think, when the season finished when we were 3rd gave Ardley far more credit than he deserved, as was shown later by Harrogate. We had been mid table most of the season, and i think we would have reverted to 6th or 7th if continuation, no way as the ardley brigade believe we would have over taken both Barrow and Harragate, possible in 1 out of 1000 cases, but highly unlikely.

Guess i will have to patient, i been waiting since after Ardleys first 12 games. Its like waiting for Covid and all the lockdowns to end, so we can have a former life back, that we took for granted, like the Nolan spell, ..

Not the Nolan spell at the start of the season we got relegated. That totally unexpected and horrifically bad start was certificate 18 stuff. Shudder.

"I for one..." sums it up no matter how red in the face you get and stomp your feet about the owners not sacking Ardley to date it's just your , an individual's opinion. We've all got one, they all differ, they all carry little weight.

Ardley appointed 3 and sacked 2 managers, individually they look like poor decisions, collectively they caused NCFC to become a non league club for the first time ever.

The chairman/owner is naturally ultimately responsible for everything that happens at the club as they make the all important hires and fires. They are especially responsible when they are making poor knee jerk reactions, spinning badly out of control and losing money hand over fist.

You are right Ardley annoying doesn't do great doesn't do awful as you say "he's never really bad but never really good either" so how the hell do you still claim he is the worst Notts manager ever? That's pitchfork behaviour at its worse

What about Nolans former 2 seasons that were play off form??

No matter how much you sing praises for Ardley, and hide behind Ardley, he is a failure that got this once great club into the National League, and will keep us here

No Ardley made us a non league club, no other manager

Ardley doesnt do great in Tier 5 you tool , look at our opposition , and he is the worst because he is the manager that relegated us to non league- please keep up, but you conveniantly want to forget that, you say it was Alan Hardys fault - no it was Neil Ardleys fault

Where am I endlessly singing his praises? I'm merely countering some of the ridiculous comments and providing an alternative viewpoint to that of the overreactions of the angry mob#noagenda

Davy we get it , you've said the following equation many many times: Ardley Manager of Notts County when Relegated = Ardley's Fault = Worst Notts manager in history.

Ardley was appointed by Hardy, so then it's Hardy's fault. He then didn't sack him after first 12 games like you wanted , again Hardy's fault. And we would never have had Ardley if we hadn't sacked Nolan and Kewell, again Hardy's fault. But ignore all of this.

He was the owner and chairman for all of the above, think about that for a minute temper tantrum.

All of the above has all been covered many many times before we all know each others different views. None of us can do anything to change the current situation, that's up to the club (players, manager, owners).

Instead of going round in circles let's wait until he's sacked or leaves the club
Until then let us see what happens, and let's hope for a victory tonight regardless of our opinions on the current manager.

I think you know i do not blame alan hardy at all, he appointed Ardley in good faith, when Ardley knew the situation at Notts, and told Hardy he could do something, not only that hardy heavily backed him in the transfer window ,yet ardley still failed that is his fault and no body elses, outwit by campbell with no resources and no pay
Just admit Ardley is a failure and as continued to be so
I want him gone, and if that means Notts have to set back initailly to do so, i believe in the long run we will be much better without him
