Sadly Prando it’s not just Bartley - you need to look at players who cost us a fortune in fees and wages and what are they doing? Most of our squad are not good enough! Whilst Bartley is not good enough at least he tries which is more than can be said about lazy Sawyers!

Look at Esme then look at Diangana - it seems Esme is a class apart and can adapt to the step up but Diangana can’t!

Another game ruined by appalling refereeing. Until that incident we were marginally the better side. Up to this point Zaha and Ezme hadn't had a great influence on the game. Yes, we should have defended better in the second half but you do have to ask the question 'What have the officials got against us?' Even on repeated views of the incident it isn't obvious to me that it was deliberate. I was trying to be completely impartial but there is no way that the referee could be certain and should have issued a yellow.
We were unlucky against Spurs but no arguements, they scored a legitimate goal, we were lucky against Sheffield Utd. but that was their fault not the refs. However, Utd. and today referees have robbed us of possible victories. It's getting to the point where you are just waiting for an important decision to go against you. As I've said before, VAR is not the problem but the officials operating it, both on and off the field.

Red card or no red card Leicester - fact is he should not have given the ref an easy decision to make! He’s petulant and goes to ground too easy! Another thing ruining the game!

We are woeful in the second half and many teams with 10 men would still make a fight of it! We really are nothing more than a championship side with no real quality! Bilic chops and changes the team constantly and perhaps he should work on discipline and the will to fight!

Embarrassing!! Pointless blaming players like Bartley when Grant - Diangana and Pereira are not performing to the level of their hefty fees! Don’t get me going too about Gibbs and Grosicki who are being treated like misbehaved school boys!! The wages of Austin, Gibbs and Grosicki are frightening - what a waste of money!!

Bilic should try some of the young kids - could they do any worse?

The point I'm trying to make Al is, did he actually kick out at the player? As I say, I've looked at it times and am not convinced so why is the ref. so absolutely sure that he did?

Think it was harsh Leicester but when you have your feet anywhere near another player it gives the ref a decision to make. Not the first time he's done this!

Many teams would have rolled up their sleeves and had some fight with 10 men! We were shocking and losing the faith especially with Bilic now! I know we don't have the quality - but better players on the bench - wrong selections - wrong subs and ill discipline. Where's the fight?

Not even a yellow card, let alone a red. Another ******* **** of a referee. I wouldn’t be surprised if the players just thought ‘what’s the point of even trying when you get ****** over by the ref, again’! When the red card was shown I turned the TV off, just pointless with decisions like that. The game is no longer a contact sport, too much cheating by players. Anyone see MOTD last night, Raheem Sterling’s dive? Another cheat that VAR supports.

Fair point baggieal buddy. I just wish Bartley would stop his regular committing of careless fouls in dangerous positions. Almost petulant. But as you say he is a trier.
Notwithstanding there is an overall lack of discipline and an absence of a leader.

Totally agree Prando - these needless fouls are so costly! To be frank - Bartley and Ajayi are out of their depth and Ivanovic has lost any pace or sharpness he had! Then there’s Sawyers in front of them who offers zero protection. More alarmed at Grant and all very well some saying he’s not getting the service which may be true - but he does very little in work rate to get the ball and looks as unfit as Austin!

The last time Benteke turned two centre halves and scored from 16 yards I was still w a n k I n g to Jilly Johnson on Page Three!

That one piece of play shows just how much trouble we are in.
