Tykesmad are saying that it's the fact that they take the knee which was/ is part of the BLM movement that the fans were booing and maybe a different kind of anti-racial activity could be used instead. I don't condone the booing for any reason. It was obvious that it would be construed as booing of players and for no other reason. I don't mind how they express their show of support, bend the knee, salute or break dance for 2 minutes, as long as the message is about kicking out racism.
Secondly I've noticed that anyone, and this is on both boards, who has a differing opinion is vilified, abused and insulted. The insults may not contain the same vitriol as some have, but they're insulting just the same, mostly suggesting or openly stating, that those in disagreement are inferior and uneducated. I find that unacceptable too. People do have differing intelligence and education, but they should not be abused for that, just for having a different opinion to, let's say, the more educated. No matter how you dress it up, some people are saying if you don't agree then you're stupid and that's abusive and insulting and should stop.
