I'm proud to be a Notts fan and always will be but it is getting embarrassing losing to teams who play better than us with much less wherewithal to do so. I really think now we'll never go up with Ardley in charge. As I say though I've resigned to the fact that this is us now, crap.

I think it was BFP who said Torquay got a manager in who's won this league twice and they're doing well. There's plenty out there who would take this job on and I feel would make a better fist of it. As it is we're all waiting for Roberts to win us games again like last year.

Totally agree, and if we do not get promoted this season he should be sacked otherwise with him in charge we will be stuck in this league forever.

Its just that we never do the basics, the bread and butter stuff, like defending set pieces, an archiles heel for Notts during Ardley,s entire time at the club.

I remember Roy Keane once at half time, laying in to England after a poor first half. keane said

"England have got to get to the ball first from their set pieces, if they get to the ball first they have a 50 % chance of scoring"

For Boreham woods goal last night, they got to the ball twice through 2 headers for the goal, un challenged, what were the Notts defenders doing?
And we just had warning minutes before when Wood headed wide
Ardley then says after the match he has told them what to do, but he can not make them do it ? So what is the answer ??

Ardley has pretty much said the same thing himself, so yeah.

Well you seemed to suggest that you were an expert or had knowledge of the manager's contract T&C's , what's the financial penalty for getting rid following the manager following last night's defeat compared to if we get rid at the end of the season?

That's good to hear, most people appear to be singing off the same hymn sheet.
