I actually felt quite encouraged by today. We competed quite well against a team that are head and shoulders above the rest in Scotland and doing well in Europe.

Frustrating with free kicks that given away that lead to goals. Bit naive not to realise they are looking for those types of chances. All part of learning and experience.

It’s still about staying up for me - especially when see teams like st Mirren winning. It’s is very tight outside the top 4 in the league.

Feel hopeful after today we might compete quite well over next few matches

yeah we were all rightly fearful about today's game and the dent to our morale it may have done but the performance, the industry if not the quality, does give some optimism for the next 5 challenging games which takes us into next year. And who knows, maybe LoA will recapture his goal touch.

Way better than i feared. Great corners from Sporle. shame about the other side. Harkes frustrated me a lot today. He and many others failed to make the simplest of pass and his corners are amateur. I'd have Sporle taking them at both sides. So dangerous. What a difference having delivery like that makes.

Great goal. Always liked Liam Smith. He's steady and not flashy but his touch and control are decent.

    Thought Jamie played well too.
Lawrence missed a good chance and i think he won't miss next time. Percentages say he is about to score.

Thats the most chances we have had in a game for a while and it was against the evil hun.

Onwards and upwards. how can we not get tactics right against the rest?

Losing by one goal to the team that are hammering everyone and p1ssing the league on our first season after promotion is 'dire'?! 👍

Think folk are pleasantly surprised we never got a doing. However, matches against better teams are suiting our quite negative style at the moment. In saying that out of Aberdeen, Celtc, Hibs, and Sevco we've only got one point...

We actually created a few chances which is a bit more promising. If we are to play this formation Smiths goal is a prime example of how we should be playing, it. At the end of the day its 0 points and we need to be having much more of a go at the rest of the teams in the league. Rangers are miles ahead of everyone else. Oh and Harkes is ****e.

And what were you expecting at the start of the season from these matches?

Agreed moicher re our full backs & Laurence taking his next chance. Boyd likened LS to AM, both are out of touch (moreso AM, some of his swipes didn't even hit fresh air) tho LS is a far nicer person! LS was annoyed at not turning that one in tho I'm sure he will next time. We only had 3 corners, one after the other & yeah, AS from the right with his left foot were both 10/10 Other teams have proper corner takers & we never seem to so maybe we're covered now at least from the right & as long as AS is playing. I'd give him left-footed free kicks on goal too. IH's corner was like our default corner, rubbish. He didn't have his best game but I stick by him, he's learning fast & I'm sure by next season we'll have a centre mid to be proud of.
