He has looked decent in the highlights i have watched,at the time he was available i was thinking no thanks but he would have improved our squad's creativity.

Yeah, but he wouldn't have the same incentive if he were at United.

He's doing well at the Saints in the twilight of his career. He is giving it his all to convince the fans, and manager, and he's doing that well IMO. But he's not got the pace he had.

I'm glad to see him do well. But I think he is a better fit for Saints than us. We are lookin to develop and
eventually move on younger players. Craig Conway doesn't fit that profile.

All the best to him, but we are probably hoping that Chamers can take on the Conway role.

CC seems to be enjoying himself with the farmers, good crop of players there so can’t see a parting of ways

When he became available I hoped we'd sign him, he was exactly what our midfield needed for Shankland. I knew we wouldn't because he doesn't fit our business model. Tbh I think we should have made a 1 year exception.

Enough permutations for that patch of the field, Shankland would end up playing short, Robson would be played further back and Mcmullen already plays that side, no point getting tied up in knots or going through it with a fine comb.

Are you seriously comparing Craig Conway to Paul McMullan mate? Conway may be 10 years older since 2010 but he's still better than PM when it comes to controlling a football and passing it 😎

Brilliant. I'm going to cut that out and keep the clipping 😄
