I didn't agree with sacking Bilic, but what's done is done. And it has frustrated me in recent weeks conceding such sloppy goals. We will be more streetwise now, and we've probably got a better chance of staying up being like that.

This is a rubbish article. Big Sam has a great record but because he’s older and British, he’s labelled with failed managers. In fact, he hasn’t ever really failed.

I don’t get this view that we’ve lost great football in losing Bilic. Frankly we’ve been crap for a long time. Bilic won 2 games against top 6 opposition last season and even though we beat Sheffield United, they absolutely deserved the win. We’re always out planned against sides with similar quality. I don’t get the hype in Bilic. He had the biggest transfer and wage budget in the championship and nearly messed it up. He has proven to not have a vision of a system for our club. Roll on Big Sam who will have a clue!

Pepe Mel was a lovely guy too but sadly he did not get results but the Spanish flags were nice on the eye
