A source within Sheffield Wednesday Football Club has reported that after November's salary payment all players will receive remuneration based upon results, performance and disciplinary records. He said the players had responded positively and had asked directions to the nearest foodbank.

Just to be serious for a second, I thought there was an £8m loan available from the PL for clubs who are struggling financially? Wouldnt tuna chops have made use of that rather than short change his players?

Sommat not reight darn theere 🤔

    Something fishy about this story.

He pays tens times more than Hillsboro is worth then he can’t afford to pay the bills

Cash flow problems and due to their past record nobody is daft enough to loan them money

The PFA can Carp on all they like But I wouldn't let them off the hook.
Close the net around them and then tackle them with more deductions

A report from a national newspaper suggested the players are getting a maximum of £7,000 a month of their wages, with the rest being sent through later, to make up the totals.
When asked boss Tony Pulis was quoted as saying he was aware of the stories, but his side of the club is football.
Not the first players have been paid late, it also happened in June, when some players were due outstanding money, including loyalty bonuses.
Players in the lower divisions would be happy to be receiving £7,000 a month as normal wages.
Even with these restrictions the players are that crap they’re all Dover (sole) paid

Yes remember the co-op bank, who if they called in the debt at the time when pigeon fancier Allen was at the helm they probably would have gone under.
