Did we create a stink up when Pompey messed us around last season?.Changing the original kick off time and then cancelling it altogether,we had to accept a long trip down midweek as opposed to a Saturday fixture. These are "unprecedented times" and if we have virus affected players we have no option but to postpone.

'The Club will be making no further comment at this time'......a very officious statement but I guess 'Officiousness' is at an all time high but sounds wonderful against a backdrop of 'protocols' , 'Government Guidance' , and 'EFL Rules'! Keep up the disinfecting of goalposts and balls , entering the field of play at separate times and the elbow touching but don't forget to sweat, jump and collide with each other for 90 minutes........or in our case.......108 minutes!

Could be a storm in a teacup regarding EFL actions or sanctions

They have to investigate, all league clubs would expect nothing less.

The key to this is when the club found out about the infected player, was it really that close to kick off or did they know earlier?
