I don’t think a lot of people understand how things work with MB and what he sets the team up to do. He inherited a very average championship team on a poor budget. He has had to do the best he can with players who are on paper significantly worse than the opposition.
He has made them super fit as he can control that, along with a very good playing style which he drills into everyone. This can also be achieved with long hours on the training ground.
However to get these bang average players changing styles for each game is not realistic as they are not good enough. MB knows this so ensures we get what we can from super fit and highly drilled players. Please stop saying we are a one trick pony etc.... we don’t have a choice.
Hopefully real money will come into the club and class players will come in sooner or later and put us on a level playing field where a one trick pony won’t be necessary tactically, although it is the best trick I have ever seen !

Its the game style and he has done this with all his clubs and yes its a one trick game plan. Instead of improving the team with better quality local players we splashed out millions on who? Raphine is the only one that looks decent. Millions on Costa Rodrigo impending JK millions wasted And don't start me on one injury pronged player. We spend money just not well and those so called not good enough players are carrying us through. The only hope we have is if the young ones actually come through and fast.
You cant go flat out every game and expect the same results. Other teams analyse the teams they are playing and adjust but we only know one way it either works or not.

We are only 8 points from 4th but also 7 points from relegation we need to win a few and that starts next 2 games. Am I confident NO but it is a must we just have to beat those 2.

well mate if your doomsday predictions come true - I won't be as dissapointed as you, but I honestly don't think we will be going down, and as such am srtill enjoying the entertainment we offer up every week, Only a misserble fecker can complain that we lose 6-2 and yet be overjoyed when we win 5-2 three days earlier.

Still I know that as long as we survive this season I will be happy to accept these defeats along the way.

Cheer up lads, MB will be gone all too soon,,then you can "Enjoy" watching us play like the Baggies, or whateve we get with Pulis or Big Sam or whover turns up next!

Agreed if we have/better players the we would be less likely to lose the ball/concede - not to say Bielsa hasn’t worked minor miracles with what he’s got.

A decent finisher today and we probably go In at half time 4-3 down. If we had more quality at the back (accepting we miss Koch and Llorente) maybe we don’t go 2-0 down in 5 mins.
