Not Seen The Apology Yet From Livermore!

Livermore knew that 3 points were essential and what it meant to the fans! Not seen the apology yet for lunging in to a needless tackle like Bruce Lee! Had that connected he would have snapped Greaslish's leg! Don't like Grealish but God if we had someone with the quality he possesses! We are reliant on a 20 year old loan player to be our stay. Can you imagine if Gallagher was not in our midfield at the bottom covering ground for useless Livermore and Sawyers!

Irresponsible behaviour and clearly unsuitable as captain. Difficult to comprehend that he has represented our National side.
Presumably Sam will have assessed Sawyers’ performance.
Opportunities for Austin and Grosicki methinks.

We are suffering from a powderpuff midfield with the exception of one reckless idiot. Surely the time must be right for Sam Field to get a chance in the holding midfield player role.

I have long wondered about Livermore's strength of character and bottle when it comes to a fight. The cynic in me thinks perhaps Livermore saw the next three games of Liverpool, Leeds and Arsenal and thought f**k that for a laugh. Get myself sent off and miss those games as we will have to work like the clappers to even avoid a drubbing with the workrate of those teams.

As a defender I made that move no end of times myself, slide in high with a curved foot, loop it around the ball, stand up on your sliding leg and come away with the ball, often used to keep a ball from going out of play. Where Livermore went wrong was trying attempt it in the company of the biggest diver in the Premier League, ahem sorry, the most fouled player in the Premier League.

Of course, Grealish made the most of it as we’ve all come to recognise, it’s a shame as even with my Albion glasses on i’ll admit the kids got talent, but with all his antics it beggars belief that Ref’s continually get conned by him.

I thought the same that Livermore keep the ball in play, at ist I thought he won the freekick. All the experts thought the villa foul was more dangerous and deserved a red. Andy Gray and Keys described has voilent and a leg breaker. What narked me was the ref didn't go over and view it.
4 players have sent off for tackles on Grealish, who great balance like me I keep falling over.
Has the art of tackling gone out the game, I always made sure my ist tackle was hard.
Shirt pulling and falling down, Cyril was just pull them along.
    Games gone soft.

Why apologise? If I got the ball like that I’d think I did really well. If I caught the player I would hold my hands up. He didn’t touch the player. Just a very strong challenge. The Villa defender should apologise for doing a leg breaker.

The Villa player was lucky. Livermore deserved to go as it was a reckless and dangerous lunge - it’s intent and it does not matter whether he was lucky that contact was not made.

Livermore deserved to go and even Big Sam knows that!

Championship player like Sawyers and Gallagher is twice the player of both of them put together and he’s 20 with pace, determination and energy which Livermore and Sawyers don’t possess.

I can see what you are trying to say Al, but I also see what Sam said that you cant blow on a player these days. He got the ball with sheer determination and didn't harm the player. In my book that's a great challenge, but as you say its judged as reckless. You cant afford to touch a player, especially a rag doll like Grealish.
