Two observations from tonight's games.
(1) Arsenal - that's what you get when goalkeepers are coached to punch/parry everything. They get an easily catchable free kick and make a complete hash of it.
(2) Nice honesty from the Brentford goal scorer when asked how they had managed to beat 4 Premiership teams in the competition so far. "Because it's a Mickey Mouse competition and they have all put out **** teams!" (OK I was wishing he'd said that but he didn't

Joking aside Brentford didn't start their top striker Ivan Toney so Brentford,s side wasn't actually their strongest team.
Maybe our 0-2 defeat wasn't too bad
Ncastle sold Toney a few years ago and I bet they are regretting it now
