When things are better, I would LOVE to see this again.

Cairds wee Doris made me greet.

It's a must see IF it can ever be done again. "mon thi Rep"
Sort of thought after show ended after a month, that the writers were missing a trick not offering this to bbc Scotland (in particular) i’m sure it would have been recorded with something like this in mind. Would be very surprised if it never came on tv sometime soon. As an afterthought, that show could have been my last live event!

They should maybe also remember that Sir Alex himself selected five, yes FIVE, of Jim’s players for the Mexico 86 World Cup squad. This over the very team that he had left for Manchester United but a few months previously. That says it all really. That feat, which will never, EVER, be repeated by any team from the City of Dundee is possibly Jim’s greatest proof of his genius. Before he took over we had never had a senior cap. We went from Davie Narey getting his first in (?78) to five at a WORLD CUP in the space of eight years. Incredible really.

I went to see it twice, it really is top class and well worth making into a show for TV. Even a Hamilton style filming of the stage show...

I’d far rather watch a performance of ‘Shine’ on Hogmanay than ‘Only An Excuse’ for example.

Last ever episode of only an excuse this week, no the best entertainment for hugmany but what else will replace it? Wonder if there’s time to do a wee tribute to Jum?

Some of the comments from the Cobra on TDB are a disgrace too. When one of their heroes or legends has died I've seen nothing but respect here. Even at the passing of 83 years old Jim McLean his bitterness comes first.

Just to add a thanks to all the fans of other clubs for the kind tributes, especially the decent posters over the road on TDB.
