The impression I get is that under Boothy (and the owners after him) we were very much seen as a paria club. On the outside looking in. Stale, boring, outdated. Under TS bridges were built with the EFL and the FA (starting from when we had to move from the DVS back to Rotherham. The EFL would not have kicked us out of the league if we didnt meet the 4 year deadline as long as progress was being made on the new stadium) and we are now viewed very favourably and as a progressive club using a model for others to follow.

Despite what we think (and I too get those feelings sometimes) the EFL and FA quite like TS's RUFC.
I'm sure that's correct Grumps and people looking for the outside do like our Chairman and Manager but I still think the EFL would prefer us as a div one club and would prefer others in the cship
Just because they think we are well run that doesn't mean they want us mixing with the big boys and struggling every season.
We don't really have a business model to sustain a long stint in the division we,re in whereas other clubs are a much better fit.

Sunderland and Portsmouth have bigger grounds, a much bigger fan base, attract better players and are much more attractive to sell to the TV companies. Proven by the fact that Sky don't seem to want to show us much unless it's showcasing Ivan Toney,s skills.
bT are showing us in Jan but that's because we,re playing Everton and every fa cup match is being shown

Agree, what they say to your face is totally different to what they may say behind your back
It’s good that TS is keeping on their good side but I doubt he’s a fool
