    Big Sam

Say what you like about him, he might give and take the odd bung, and park the double decker, but he got a result today.
Our next game won’t be the gimme that we think?

If anyone thinks (thought) that ANY game tis season was a "gimme" they need to give their heads a wobble. No such thing, now or ever.

They will have taken a lot from today, confidence wise, I guess they will play differently against us and take more chances and go forward more looking for a win. I'll stick with my prediction for a score draw. A lot will depend on who recovers the best in the 48 hours

I don't think they will take any risks. Big Sam has always (imo) been a manager that believes not conceding a goal is the first step towards winning a match.

We will definitely need to score 1st and see if they open up a bit then.

At what cost though, that style is never ever going to do anything other than keep them as relegation candidates. I'd honestly rather go down than watch that for 5 years.

Managers like him just kill clubs, he might keep them up (I doubt it) but they'll just get relegated next year.

I despise Allardyce even more than I loathe Lumplard. Anyone that goes around revelling in the title of "Big Sam" is clearly an idiot. It would be far more accurate to call him "Fat, dishonest, journeyman Sam".

He did England a favour when he was taking money and got himself sacked.

Completely agree. Sheffield United who haven't won a game yet this season are not the pushovers their points total reflect and are capable of surprising.

Can barely watch it for 5 min. Yesterday, before Liverpool scored, Brom were defending with a 5-5-0 formation. A true "double decker" bus.
