I’m not convinced he can’t man manage them. Whether he does it effectively or not is another story.

Jozefzoon and Vassell look like extremely fit Sunday league footballers to me. He can only work with the tools available.

Big Sam was a tactical genius at Anfield the other night. What happened to him tonight?

I see what you’re saying mate but be careful what you wish for. Pulis is meant to be a tactician. Be funny as feck if he takes over at Sheffield United. 😂😂

I thought we played quite well second half, definately played better with Smith on the pitch, remember we havent trained for 9 to 10 days and some of the lads on the pitch tonight were not 100% fit. With that in mind, I think it wasn't that bad a performance and we were unlucky not to come away with something out of the game.

Hard to make an appraisal given the circumstances surrounding this game to be honest .

You lost the game in the first 15 minutes because you can't give Woodrow and Mowatt that kind of space , they will fill their boots most of the time .

At 0-2 I'm always thinking one goal conceded and suddenly it's a different game which is what happened as we conceded our usual goal from the set piece .

Lapado needed to score to level the game up but fortunately for us he didn't .

Those fine championship lines once again .

We seemed to regroup after that and nullify you , limiting you to long balls which we managed to defend pretty well .

We got the job done tonight and probably had that bit extra quality wise .

I've stated on this board that there's 5 to 10% between a relegation struggle and comfortable mid table and that was probably the difference tonight .

Nowt that can't be made up with a good January window for Rotherham .

Look where we were 12 months ago .

Or maybe it’s laughable seeing that some were saying game shouldn’t be played, it’s not fair, we’ll get hammered.

Considering what’s happened I’d say we didn’t do too bad and definitely would have won if we didn’t have COVID problems and under normal circumstances if you actually read comments you’d find I would’ve moaned about Warne or whatever but hey ho whatever

We would probably have lost this by a similar score in spite of covid. We are only gonna stay up now woth some inspired signings and some key pkayers back. No good getting rid of warne because we will end up like the pigs changing out manager every couple of weeks. If ws go down we go down all we can do is to keep fighting. Yes we lack quality. We cant afford to pay for that. 2 sloppy early goals gave us no chance basically. You cant put old man wood uo agsinst woodrow . There is only gonna be one winner. Im coming to terms with us likely going down but just pray for some gems in the teansfer window we shall see...

Lindsay back to sweeper? And what, Wiles in midfield.

Think both teams were bypassing midfield second half.

Why do you think Warne cannot see that change?

You can't give teams a couple of goals start and expect to get anything out of the game.
A better second half from us however we didn't quite do enough in that final third.
Credit to Barnsley for seeing the game out for the 3 points.
Hey up uncle Frank, I always look for your comments on here first if I can when it comes to playing us Tykes lol.
A 2 goal start really sucks doesnt it, and I know how bad it feels when we've done it against teams in the past. I admit we were hanging on in the end for the win, so try to take that as some consolation, maybe.

I think the Luke Thomas sub was a masterstroke animal, he can play almost anywhere across midfield and pannicked our lads quite a lot.

Considering the circumstances it wasn’t a bad result however with Derby, Wednesday and Wycombe all winning .......
