Apologies but have to put this up early due to work commitments. Much has been said about whether the game should have been played so let's keep this about what actually happened in the match. 2-0 down at half time, it could get better or worse but remember other teams not in our position have lost 4-0 and 5-0 at home tonight.
Thoughts?
going down 100%. and need a manager, not a baby sitter.
Didn’t do too bad considering some were expecting an hammering
Smith made the difference (some might now see when I keep saying he should be on team sheet)
Barnsley were panicking when we got one back but credit to them who seem to be doing ok atm
Well done lads
Bring on Cardiff 😂
Not a great game. Hoofball by both sides. They were better first half but our defending was poor for both goals. I thought we were best in second but not good enough up front to take advantage.
Disappointed but expected worse after the bad start.
Great night for EFL,Derby win,Sheff W win we lose.No matter our circumstances we can't keep giving easy goals away.
The long ball stuff we play is awful to watch and so predictable. On another day we might have snatched a point but didn't really deserve it to be honest.
Credit to Barnsley, they played some nice stuff at times and look after the ball so much better than we do.
Not sure where we go from here.
We look like a team who work hard but lack quality and give freebies away each game, it’s looking as though we are slipping towards Wycombe
Need another option up front as Vas and Hirst are div 1 at best
Barnsley played some decent stuff in the first half. Both their goals had a bit of quality about them. Especially their second.
Second half we restricted them and showed loads of effort but we were only going to score or make sommat from a set piece. I didn’t see us string 3/4 passes together once.
I know we are injury/Covid hit but fitness wasn’t the difference today.
The cutting edge was.
Callum Styles looks like he’s going places. Not sure it’s at LB though.
Need a manager who can motivate these players and the get the best from them. It's not Paul Warne.
Capitulated inside 15 minutes. Why was that? Because we lost the game in the fecking changing rooms that's why. Seriously, we all knew this game was done by 8pm.
Management not good enough
