He's had so many issues go against him this season and he's been swimming against the tide for a long time now.

A lengthy injury list and never being able to put out a settled squad
Players clearly still affected with personal issues
LTI,s involving two of our most influential players this season in SMac and Oggy
He's had to self isolate and miss games and training sessions
    Covid within his own family
His marquee signing in Hirst has turned out to be ineffective and remember that most of us endorsed this signing
    This covid outbreak
EFL allowing points to be gifted back to a relegation rival
EFL singling us out with our own special playing circumstances
Lapses in concentration and bad luck in overtime with us shipping hard earned points
Questionable refereeing decisions and assessments of reasonable time to add on at the end of a game
    There's probably more

There's a transfer window about to open, players are starting to come back from injury and we,ve played than less than half of our games.
The least we can do is Give the lad a chance to turn it around. No point with the sustained criticism, it won't help us accumulate some points and will erode confidence at the club. The criticism from a month or so ago seeped its way to the players and management team and clearly affected Warney

There was an article in the Yorkshire Post recently, or it may have been the Star, where Neil Warnock says he fully endorses PW as our long term solution. He even went as far as advising Tony on the golf course not to do anything rash. So for the master tacticians on here there is an endorsement from one of the greatest Managers and tacticians we have witnessed in that PW is the right man for us.
I agree with all that flour, there are a few on here who are not Roth fans trying to troublemake. The EFL come out of this with no credibility whatsoever. When asked for guidance, on this problem instead of support, Warney was threatened with "potential" huge penalties that the club may be dealt with.Scaremongering at its worst. This is a faceless, useless, unaccountable organisation, who are not fit for purpose.Well done lads and lets get the next match won.

You've got a lot to learn!

I don't agree that it was lost in the dressing room. It was lost by Ihiekwe being caught in a poor position defensively which allowed a through ball to be played and because Wiles lost it in a position where we were very susceptible to the counter.

If you look just a few posts up I explained what I think we need in terms of tactics which clearly makes the point that lump ball from anywhere doesnt work and we need width etc for better quality balls in the box. Personally I would like to see more of Miller as he offers natural width. Who knows why we didnt, on bench to just make up numbers or a poor decision not to utilise him in the latter stages.

Not really sure why you're gunning for me when I've not even defended the tactics or subs....

I can at least back up my opinion with coaching badges from the FA and if I only had the Level 1 coaching badge it is still more knowledge about tactics than you will ever know mate.

This idea of having to be trained in a particular professional field to be able to spot a fake or bad practice is quite frankly ludicrous

I suppose because folks are easily deceived is why on line scams flourish, they’ve got no coaching badges in internet fakery.

Fans can only go on what they se in front of them, we don’t (some might) see training sessions, dressing room talk, injury room etc

Just down to opinions I suppose

No matter what our opinions are, at the end of the day Barnsley got 3 points, the Millers got none.
To me Smith should have been on from the start, ( If he was not one of the sick players ), plus I would have played Thomson at left back, at least hes a defender, instead of Wiles.
Barnsley knew our week spots, one being the left back situation & Wood not having the legs to help cover Wiles.

Tony Stewart said the club has learnt a lesson after our last stint in the championship, but the coaching staff has not, with how the tactics have shown this season.

I think you and a few others read far too much into this. It’s turned into a mantra. But of course, if he just says the opposition are **** we will win 6-0 LOL.

And therefore, by extension, Warney’s qualifications mean he knows far more than you, surely?
