The NBC pundits here summed up Sheffield United pretty accurately. Tin pot club with tin pot owners in a tin pot city with tin pot manager and tin pot players without a pot to piss in when it comes to Premiership financial clout.

I don't think they will be inviting Ronnie and Brecks back anytime soon

I lost count of the “blades” metaphors on the SKY coverage

My mate an avid Blade for over 50 years is currently sunning it up in Lanzarote. He text me tonight to say he is so low with what's being delivered by Wilder and the team, he's not watching another game this season.

I told him it could be worse as he could have actually turned up in person at the Lane, to all the home games, to witness all he described! He thanked me saying that had made him feel much better as that would have definitely been worse.

Weird lot dem blunts, mate of mine is one through an through but is making a killing backing them to get beat this season. Palace were evens yesterday which is a cracking price in a 3 horse race. Guess money is money but I’d never back against the millers no matter how dire we was.

You wont find a bigger Miller than me and I always back against them. I have this bizarre feeling that if I back them I'll jinx them.

Be under no doubt though, no matter how high the stake (and some can be high) I'd always, without exception, rather the Millers win.

What? After 80 mins at 2 nil down.

Im all for young player development. But it has to be that. Hackford found himself in the squad due to circumstances rather than selection. Many good things can come of situations like this in that it gives the young player the chance they may not ordinarily get. Some kids have the ability to take those brief unexpected moments.

Got to understand it for it is.

Like I said, get Kayode back, drop Vassell and Hirst and use Smith, Ladapo/ Kayode as our 3 front players.

Who says you can’t use young untried players?
Anyone who watches Kayode regularly like I do will tell you he is not ready for Championship football. He is doing OK, has some nice touches but comes across as lazy (not the Warne mould)

I would definitely leave him where he is at present, I agree with getting rid of Hirst, he's no better than Kayode for sure.

On going talks with him to either stay at Carlisle or maybe go to L1 where apparently there is interest
Personally I’d be looking to sell because I can’t see him playing for us tbh

Doubt he'll play for us under Warney. He's young, fit & on the up. And ours!
