Far too early to write us off although it is a tall order to catch them.
Surely Torquay the Champions already didn’t lose? Sack Ardley now. We are back in it lads especially as we are guaranteed to get a better manager.
Only the other day were some on here writing our chances off.
Nobody in this league is capable of going undefeated for any great length of games. I feel Torquay will to start to falter. That said Yeovil’s league position is a bit false IMO and they will surely climb the table.

What you miss Davey lad is the momentum we had when covid struck, won at Barrow who were shaking and just thrashed a team at the san sirrel, momentum is everything, we would have won the league.

Don’t be silly. Momentum only applies to other teams. You are right, we seemed to have peaked at the right time and had lots in our favour. Our key players were all in form. Our key games (if I’m allowed to call them that) against Harrogate and Yeovil were both at home. Had we won those and missed out on automatic it would have given us a huge psychological edge.

Torquay did lose, 2-1 away at Yeovil. Always here to help.

So you run riot and thrash a team 6-1, then less than a week later you lose 2-1 to the same opponent.

    Never change football, never change.

I see you ignored the question that was posed so I will take it as read that the Barnet team were in deed weakened due to loan and contracts that had expired.
Now take a step back , and recall that you and your disciples were using the Barnet game as an example of competence in the Ardley portfolio of achievements.
Asking posters why indeed that this victory wasnt taken into account when mentioning must win games.
I think you and the disciples thought it was an outstanding result.
However on reflection it seems it was another piece of fools gold in Ardleys tenure.
Dare I say no more than a victory against a bunch of part timers.
When we play a half decent team its defend, keep it tight, play for the draw, fingers crossed we might pinch a winner.
We are great against part timers and look half decent.

This league is bonkers this year so far, I honestly don't see Torquay winning it, I think with the effects of covid with teams either helped or hindered by lay offs means it will be an absolute lottery.

That's a hell of a lot words but I don't see an answer to my question. Let's try again beating Barnet was an "outstanding achievement", who said that? I really hope you have an answer for me, maybe quote their post as evidence cos they want rinsing for that. Good luck

If not you changed "key game" to "outstanding achievement" you crafty little swine but tbh it was really easy to spot because they mean two completely different things lol.

A playoff semi final, especially a one legged version is a key game ? A must win game? I'm sure you will agree Ken?
