O/T anyone not originally from round here.

Is everyone here born and bred in Rotherham.

Personally I didn’t move here until I was 18. Born in paisley and moved around a lot. Duckinfield, elderslie, Islington, Reading ( who I supported from 11 - 16 and Bournemouth.

Ended up in dinnington after follow a girl there and marrying her. (Second marriage now)

I always believed that supporting a team was about going to the match and started going to Millmoor in 91.

Lived here ever since and quite like where I am in kimberworth now.

No, born in Sheffield, most of formative years in Tinsley

Worked for quite a spell at MOD HQ Woolwich, living in Maidstone.

    Grist Jr was born there

Bet that’s nothing like it was when you grew up there in the 50s.

Both my children and grandchildren were born here.

Did you support a Sheffield club as a kid?

No it was always the Millers.

My dad had no interest in football and it was my uncle that first took me to Millmoor.

I did see a lot of the Blades because my best mate at that time was a Blade and due to how the fixtures fell ( they were at home when we were away) so I went to the matches with him. Saw a lot of that team that had Currie and Woodward in it.

The gym teacher at school used to give away complimentary tickets to watch the Owls which I took and ripped up.
