Yup, totally on the money there GP, whatever the rules bow there are just too many people either to dense or too selfish to keep this thing under control, vaccination is the only way out. I had need to call at Leicester Forest East Northbound services last eve and despite all the righteous words of warning at the door, there was virtually no evidence of any precautions within, either from the business side or the customer side. Most frustrating was three people wearing masks but exposing their noses...I actually think that many folk now think that mask wearing excuses all other precautions

But seriously, and this is just an observation and really not an anti-Brit comment, the compliance from virtually everyone in southern Spain three and a half months ago was so, so much better.

It's all Boris Johnson's fault that Dave went into Tesco yesterday with his mask under his chin, dirty hands and coughing everywhere, after updating his Facebook profile picture with an "I'm still European" frame.

It also depends on the age group, where ever you look. The younger they are, the more the rules are ignored.
This virus is never going away, whilst we have illegal parties/BLM demo's / LGBT demo's/ Anti virus demo's and on and on and on.

Nope, no nerve touched here, just incredulity that supposedly sentient people don't see Johnson for what he is. Mind you it seems some wouldn't fire somebody failing to do their job and who is clearly incompetent, so I guess its no wonder things are going downhill rapidly.

Whether RA exercised GOOD judgement in going abroad is not for him to say, you've already determined it as foolish and you are right about everything so he'll have to suck that up. However, there was no LACK of judgement, he discussed a lot with me and I've no doubt many others.

It might have escaped your attention but the PCR test is used to show if you have Covid or not. Covid is a worldwide issue. So I'll repeat the question. Why has MSM (and the politicians and even the Conspiracy Theorists) in the UK ignored this very relevant news?

It’s been bumbling round social media a lot but there are so many panic / conspiracy stories I think it’s just got lost in the mix. Regarding mainstream media maybe they think it’s just a step too far in soothsaying, after all (adding one word to GPS comment) it is only Portugal, again maybe a bit lost in the mix
