I started this as a non controversial funny thread and you wandered in and mentioned a self serving, bigot who is no more interested in Leavers (if there is such a general term) than Trump is in the voters who voted for him. Do please spell out in clear factual words exactly what he has done to be great?

How can someone who is an opportunistic populist, who spreads lies and falsehoods and makes money out of that deception be called "great"?

That you have any regard for a someone who is a right wing populist demonstrates both lack of judgement and complete ignorance, but then as I've repeated many times, not one Brexit supporter has been able to coherently state the upside of Brexit.

And to celebrate a deal where the EU got virtually everything it asked for (including fishing) at the start of negotiations and the UK got **** all, is perhaps the single clearest demonstration that most leaver's brains atrophied a long time ago!
MoP did include the caveat "to leavers" and, in that and in the main, he may well be right. The more extremist leavers, and there's a lot of them, do think he's "great". Look at how he "socked it to 'em" in the Brussels Parliament, they will say.......

You, quite rightly IMO, don't see Farage as a "great" apart, maybe, as a "great ****er".

Not really. Just my opinion, but if two people want to childishly abuse each other - including one who isn’t even a Derby fan and who’s return has seen immediate trouble making - then I’d think ‘punishing’ them was more appropriate than closing the most visited thread in the forum’s history.

Seems to have proved one thing though...Farage IS divisive. I rest my case.

Wow swale you really do have issues, I can tell that you're a spoilt brat and have had it all your own way since the day you were born, I bet you were one of those kids who thought you had the right to play for one of your schools sports tems even though you were ****!
I think you need to look for another dummy to suck but this time try not to spit it out!

In general I think you are an out and out **** who becomes aggressive with anyone who doesn't agree with your views, you're detested by many for the narcissistic ****er which you are! You do have a few folk on here that agree with some of your posts but unlike you they know how to conduct themselves, they will have a discussion which sometimes turns into a disagreement but without the vile abuse. I'm really amazed how you are aloud to use this board with all the constant bile you love to spit. I have come to the conclusion with all your vile posts which I have read that you need some sort of medical help! I hope you take my advise and seek it!

As regards your ‘snowman parable’ which was quite funny. I’m genuinely intrigued. Do you actually despair of all those causes? Do you have no time for racial/gender equality etc or are you just fed up with perceived ‘political correctness’ and find that it’s pushed you to the Right?

Genuinely interested. Also...what is your definition of a ‘snowflake’?
The greats and I put Farage the top of this list! Churchill , Jesus, David Attenborough I really think Farage did wonders for the brexit cause which I was in favour of, and yes imo think he should have had knighthood. Do I despair of all those causes no not really but political correctness has gone mad. A snowflake to me is an over sensitive person who has oppositional defiant disorder, theres a few on here! by the way happy new year!

Well I’ll agree with Jesus and David Attenborough, MoP. The idea that Farage can even be mentioned in the same sentence is, to me, totally risible...but I did ask.

I’ll concede that political correctness can be an irritant, especially when you’re on the wrong end of it, but generally speaking hasn’t it done more good than harm?

‘Snowflake’ seems, to me, to be a pejorative term used by bullies and bigots when they’re losing an argument. Do you have to be ‘over sensitive’ to be opposed to racism, gender inequality and homophobia etc? I don’t think so.

Its questionable in my view, but can see where MOP is coming from

It began doing good and has slowly eroded its value to the point where I'm inclined to say "no". Its certainly very divisive

Id tend toward "yes" here on the same basis as above. Well intentioned objectives rammed down people's throats repeatedly generally doesnt work long term in getting your point across. i fear BLM may be going this way too. Self Righteousness fatigue I fear

Regarding Snowflakes, Sometimes its better to offer an example. In this case The FA are the snowflakes, the statement by the Uruguayans nails it

Ha ha, I have no problem with other people's opinions, just expect that they have at least a semblance of factual basis for those opinions, otherwise they aren't worth any regard.

You in particular have provided no factual basis for what you have posted, I realise it is what you believe, but unfortunately just because you believe something doesn't make it true.

If anybody needs treatment, its you for being deluded. As with any Brexit supporting person, you have failed at anytime to provide a factual evidence based reason as to why Brexit is good for the UK.

Your proposition that Farage a man with no political experience, other than taking £70K a year from the EU and by the way ensuring he didn't resign so he could collect the pension, who is earning a good whack for pedalling falsehoods and lies to dumb people is worthy of a Knighthood, merely begs the question "what drugs are you on?"

So yes I will call out people like you who post utter garbage, who have opinions that they can't back up with reasonable facts. If you can't articulate something half sentient then I suggest you should shut the **** up!

Go back to living in the past old man, fortunately your wish to return to the 50's is a vain one and your beloved Brexit will turn to ashes before your eyes, though I guess as you are a fantasist, then you won't be able to contemplate reality.
