Sometimes the intended humour does not quite cut it...

Intended humour, or unintended humour, or no humour at all, does it matter BT, this is how it always starts. Did you also notice that YouTube took down TalkRadio today, because they give a platform to people who don't agree with government policy, they've re-instated it now, but just where the feck are we heading ?

At the moment we have a clash between free speech and political correctness, I think free speech will endure.

I hope you're right, but free speech is taking a fair old battering at the moment.

I like your optimism Chris, but I feel Governments around the world and especially our own are supressing us more and more like Sinkov says, if it carries on Freedom of speech will soon become a thing of the past, I'm sure Norder would also agree

Who can define Freedom of Speech in these strange times?
Every one of us walking this planet can say something which is certain to offend someone else, somewhere, sometime and then all that happens is that the one offended goes to higher authority or to the media and the whols circus continues.

We all need black humour to get over some bad times which may be experienced so ------sod the lot of them! Control and coercion and political correctness has not yet reached this part of Ashington.

It's late and I've lost the link but I've read very recently that western scientists are very certain covid19 was made in a lab and not from some mutant bat pie sold in a wuhan market.

your not wrong Alto....anything that goes against the controlled narrative is being tyrannized - now, if something was so terrible, so obviously destructive, and so transparent to all....then there wouldn't need to silence anything, like the massive doubt, the continual correction , and the astounding irregularity etc...because there wouldn't be any.

oh, and the biggest of all....trust those scummy - cheating - falsifying - deceiving "Leaders" words ?

I'm not sure about the rest but I wouldn't trust BoJo with my pint on the bar when I went to the bogs though I've trusted loads of guys over the years in similar situations and my trust has not been abused. Does that make sense, too much red wine tonight?
