Need a marquee midfield signing.....Announce Whiteman or someone better.
If Mowatt signs we should be ok in midfield.
Other than that back to usual suspects, the ubiquitous hairy arsed striker, a central defender and a recognised left wing back.

Ok hes gone, and with Mowatt (possibly) going as well thats an important role to fill.
Step up now Kane, and we know how good Styles is anyway dont we.

It just angers me that James' club Leicester didn't want him back after all, and we refused the chance of keeping him for the season!.

It's a funny one is this and I'm trying to be pragmatic .

The game has changed these past few months with 34 Championship points on the board at the halfway stage .

We aren't safe I do take that point but it would take an absolute catastrophe to see us relegated from this position .

I do take Pass's good point the other day too that if Mowatt leaves then that's the heart gone out of the middle of the midfield .

However we do have Kane , Palmer , Styles or even Halme to come in and we may even add another this window .

James won't be cheap , even as a loan wages wise , the club are probably thinking that paying a 29 year old good money who isn't even our player with the job almost done isn't too clever .

The books have to be balanced here , we all know this .

James gave us that strengh and older head in the middle.
I see this as another Brad Potts decision.
Pushed out so a younger player can be placed in the shop window.
Another HIGH RISK decision by the directors that might have a detrimental impact on the success of the team ie play offs or dropping short.
    Jacob Brown pushed Potts out.
Looking like Palmer has pushed James out.
I'd say it's more to do with wanting Styles in the middle.

What has happened to all the stuff of only a few weeks ago about James being the first name on the teamsheet, the amount others were learning from him, being a good role model to have around the club and how much he loved it here ?

Agree but I think there's an element of we've got a £1.25 million midfielder picking splinters out of his arse what's happening here?
