I wouldn't be surprised if there is a dramatic "good news" end to the window when Dane announces that, after working 24 hours a day, he has got the deal over the line with James returning until the end of the season. This will be used to cover the bad PR from the sale of one or two key players.
    Call me an old cynic.

Either way we need some good news SB, we all know how many times things have gone down hill during the January window with players leaving

Could be a fck up or a masterstroke. I hope it's the latter as I didn't rate James. A left back and Styles in the middle would do me. We have Palmer, Christie Davies and Herbie Kane sat in the stands.

So James gone and loaned to a rival.
    Mowatt not signed so sold.
Need a marquee midfield signing.....Announce Whiteman or someone better.
If Mowatt signs we should be ok in midfield.
Other than that back to usual suspects, the ubiquitous hairy arsed striker, a central defender and a recognised left wing back.

    IMO - it’s a fck up !!!
James gave us that strengh and older head in the middle.
I see this as another Brad Potts decision.
Pushed out so a younger player can be placed in the shop window.
Another HIGH RISK decision by the directors that might have a detrimental impact on the success of the team ie play offs or dropping short.
    Jacob Brown pushed Potts out.
Looking like Palmer has pushed James out.
