    "God is love" (John 1.4.8).

I've never been able to argue otherwise.

You see again my friend ,like this Corona virus. The church is spreading ''fear of God''. Ah, these priests were clever ,control ,control! Power and control even in todays world.
More correct would be .....''In awe of God '' ......No, fear there.......and a son of Rishton has to tell you that !

Does it mention the EU and Brexit or is this a diversionary tactic BT

Cant believe you are not arguing something

    Here goes then

    Which God do you mean?
    Who is God?
So how do you know he is all love and not a bit vindictive with all the wars caused by inter god fights?
Now about the cabal of Big J and his so called disciples.
    Where do Mormons fit?

This is probably another thread. Lol

Not serious just fishing in British waters lol

OC it is written, "But the fruit of the Spirit is love, joy, peace, patience, kindness, goodness, faithfulness, gentleness and self control. Against such things, there is no law...(Galatians 5.22-24.)

Not one mention of God in there OC, but if we could embrace the idea that love, joy, peace, patience, kindness, goodness, faithfulness, gentleness and self control are virtues we could all accept and live by them, what a better existence we would all have.

    True
    From the atheists
As a general rule that when religionists practice ethical behavior, it isn’t really due to their fear of hell-fire and damnation, nor is it due to their hopes of heaven.
Ethical behavior – regardless of who the practitioner may be – results always from the same causes and is regulated by the same forces, and has nothing to do with the presence or absence of religious belief.

chris--the only problem is that some are holier than others and their word must be obeyed! Mind you, if you choose not to obey, you can join those of us who just laugh at life and don't get bogged down with politics.
Waken up in the morning and be happy and take the p*** at every opportunity.

sinkov, that is a great post ----and not fake news!

    I think they’ve got BT.

The Mormons run a great free Genealogy website Familysearch.org. The reason is families can add their ancestors into the Mountain for a fee thereby converting them posthumously to the Church. The more ancestors the better! That’s why in the 50s they sent hundreds of young men to Britain to transcribe church birth and marriage records back as far as they could.

Gradually individual trees are being integrated on their so if you share a relative you often find other avenues opening up, sometimes back to the 1500s.
They have microfilmed copies of many records and they provide them free if you go to one of their a family History Centres

    https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Granit..._County,_Utah)

Have used them in Glasgow, no religious pressures at all.
