He has performed well for last few years. He turns up in big games, against Ayr , play off matches against ICT

When we need a bit of intent and to create assists we call for him.

Service for forward is better from him. He has good close control, passing and can find a through ball.

If we want to play with ball on floor he is the man.

His assists last year were way ahead of others such as Harkes or any other midfielders

I would be absolutely gutted if we let him leave - particularly to the fun
How many goals has 'the man' assisted this season when we've called upon him?

Ask Paul. He assists them apparently.

Amazing how much opinions on McMullan differ.

I cant see anyone complaining if he goes and we replace him with someone better. Apart from that run when his contract was due to expire he's done very little for us, yes he's fast, yes he's direct but theres zero end product there, assists? crosses? that would be very interested to see the success rate

I'm wi Whitfield on this if we don't get a better player we keep him till end of season, if he signs pre-contract get shot now

That's it in a nutshell,if we cannie bring anyone in he MUST see out his contract.I Don't give a flying phuck if he's a Funster. If we need him we play him its as simple as that.Lets face it if his crosses end up in Sandeman or Tannadice ST we cannie say its cos he's no interested anymore it would just be par for the course.

He hasn't been chosen to play. He can cross the ball however and he is more positive than most. Granted he can't shoot.

Here is another way to look at it.... maybe he would rather leave, get a run of games, play alongside a proven midfielder in C A and not get the stick he always has at utd?

I don’t think he’s had that much stick to be honest HH, he’s been criticised but every player has. He’s also had plenty praise when deserved.

Maybe not as much stick as Pawlet? But the thing is he now has his future in his own hands he doesent need told “we can keep him as a back up till the end of the season then fuch off across the road” one step back to make two forward might be his best option just now. For the record with the injurys we have now i think it would be downright daft to let him go but, if he is not offered some sort of contract quickly i couldnt blame the guy for wanting to move now to a club where he can still stay in his own house without much disruption to his life.
