Bit like reading Les Dawson. Anyway if you have time its a fun read. The comments after don't show a huge contempt for Big Sam, In fact not a little admiration. Made me laugh anyway.

Interesting read, Allardyce was brought in to West Ham to get them promoted and to stay in the league, which they did. Ultimately he has been brought to the Albion to do one thing and keep us in the league. It won’t be pretty but may turn out to be effective! For me the big question is do we want to be in this league as we are? I would say no, we don’t have funds to compete and cant win the league. Are we not ( if the future of the club could be assured without premier money) better off in a division that we can play our football score goals, win games and compete at the top? Just putting it out there...
I am in agreement Dave. I’m really tired of modern football with overpaid primadonnas, useless refs, biased VAR, too much money, disinterested owners from far away, constant diving & cheating, clubs and players not giving a f**k about loyal & true fans etc, etc...
Def so Mick, I have already seen a couple (4 I think) in Cornwall when I have been there around Easter. When I am there that time of year I always try to catch a non league game. We have booked around Easter this year too, but, a huge risk I think that we have to cancel due to the pandemic, alas.
Otherwise, that would be a great idea, watch non league game with some forum members, I keep that in mind, post pandemic of course... 👍🌟
Who have you watched in Cornwall Thomas?
If you get chance I would recommend going to see Truro City play, they have a very loud bunch of fans who love their beer, they are a proper football club!
If you want to meet up to watch my local club Stourbridge FC I’m sure I could get Des and Kets along and there’s a couple of former forum members who no longer post on here who are regulars at Stourbridge matches.
We are well known for our FA Cup exploits, here is our most recent one at home against Northampton Town who were in League One at the time.

3 games, so far:
AFC Millbrook-Penryn Athletic FC
Camelford AFC-Bodmin Town FC
Bodmin Town FC-Camelford AFC
I think it’s level 10 and 11, South West Peninsula Football League Premier and Division 1 West.
Stourbridge FC are on a much higher level I assume - but, it would be a great thing to watch them together with Baggie mates.
