"EU threatens war-time occupation of vaccine makers as AstraZeneca crisis spirals. Invoking powers that would allow the European Council to seize intellectual property and data from pharmaceutical companies would be madness"

I wonder if they'll turn up in Citroen Traction Avants, wearing long, black leather overcoats ? The mask has dropped now, this vile, corrupt, useless, incompetent, bullying shambles of an organisation exposed for what it really is. They've even tried to renege on the Brexit Agreement already and impose a hard border in Ireland, and soon had to backtrack on that.

Boris ensured we had the vaccines ordered THREE MONTHS before they got round to it, they don't like their incompetence being exposed so now they're throwing their weight around and their toys out of the pram. Thank god we're out of it.

100% bob on the money with this post sinkov. The Remainers would now be dying in their thousands if we had not got Brexit done.

The gangsters in Brussels won't be chucking their weight around for much longer, because at least seven member countries of the EU want OUT.

Congratulations are in order mon ami for conjuring up the best image of the week: The EU Gestapo turning up in Citroen Traction Avants, wearing long, black leather overcoats. Love it!

    Whoops!

Bild, Germany’s highest-selling newspaper, joined the criticism of EU President Mrs von der Leyen, demanding to know why the EU has been left behind the UK, US and Israel in the vaccination race.

yes....this electronic power dominion makes the move to mechanization look like a meccano model,...a future of digitized homogenized sterility. So no...not for here...but its been a long time in the making - the government middlemen/actors did a juggling act for their international financier masters, resource holders and high council controllers - steering and persuading the masses, from problem to solution...through containment and distraction, making the Reset inevitable - there's the true Convid, a smash and grab.....And will the People get to decide its form - the shape of their future, of course not, it's been decided - as have the numbers.- we Should have a choice, Do have a choice...if not, can leave them behind, it's a big enough planet.

btw balam....super bird pics, no doubt....any chance of seeing somelife around the kibbutz, around town, some street photog - thanks !

This is what Remainers were saying 10 months ago BT, in the Remainers bible of course, the Grauniad, where else.

"Brexit means coronavirus vaccine will be slower to reach the UK"

Three experts explain why Brexit leaves the UK less able to respond to pandemic. The UK faces having to wait longer and pay more to acquire a coronavirus vaccine because it has left the EU, health experts and international legal experts warn today.

The consequences of being outside the EMA go much further. After the end of the transition period on 31 December 2020, the UK will be outside the EMA’s rapid authorisation mechanism for pandemic vaccines and medicines for treatment. Consequently, the UK could have to wait longer for these than EU member states. To make matters worse, the UK has already withdrawn from the EU’s emergency bulk buying mechanism for vaccines and medicines, which allows EU member states to increase their market power and speed up access to vaccines and medicines during a crisis. Its exclusion could mean the UK will have to pay more to acquire these pandemic countermeasures. If, as seems likely, a vaccine is developed against the 2019-nCoV virus, the UK is likely to have to join the queue for access with other countries, and to pay more than it otherwise would as an EU member state.

All those 'health experts' and 'international legal experts' the Grauniad was listening to, wrong, wrong and wrong again, egg all over their clever Remoaner faces. Boris not quite as daft as they thought eh ?

Well I finished both jabs in January. The only problem it has effected my valuations of the Burnley v's (some teams results !) I am way off. Then there are these dreams I keep having. It looks like ,or it could be Mr Garlick, on this super yacht in the Med, drinking champagne and relaxing in a chair with these 5 women around him in bikini's, all laughing and giggling, actually one is giving him a pedicure, and anther doing his fingernails with claret and blue colours. Never had them before so strange. If they keep on recurring ,must see the doc?

I am very happy to report BT that Mr & Mrs Outwood are both fine. Whether one of us still feels like that come 5pm tomorrow remains to be seen.
