Raphina just gets better; he did some great tracking back and defending. Dallas and Ayling were outstanding, Barndoor, Struijk and Harrison very good. Brilliant team effort and despite them having a strong spell at the start of the second half we completely deserved to win. I even got the prediction league score correct - possibly for the first time ever.

Slight downsides, why can't Meslier catch (although he made a couple of good saves) - he punched one corner that my granny could have caught which put us under pressure. Cooper continues to look very ponderous at this level. Costa is utter dog pooh; I think he had 3 touches and gave the ball away twice and a free kick the other time. My heart sank when I saw him coming on.

Hoping that the injuries are not serious.
Raphinha won't be worth the 20m we paid for him by end of this season thats for sure

You people disgust me! I miss one game and your all love and dory in here what is wrong with you? The excitement is gone from this forum your such Sookie Sookie lal las. Hi, billy tich wtf Blanco @sorry 1 an was just too early for me to get you a link and everyone else hopes you enjoyed the game and I promise I won't miss the next one.
On a brighter note, my tipping is going well as I decided to change tactics. Last 2 games I went for us to lose 2-1 and 3-1 and we won by those margins.

Great to see us away in WHITE. Was expecting that unnecessary red strip again.

Not sure whether you are trying to get a rise out of people, just for the sake of it, or if you think criticising the team because they're not Man City is what we should be doing?

Were we perfect? No. Did we have periods where we gave them too much room/respect? Yes. My favourite, do we play tippy tappy out of our own 18-yd box and make progress sometimes harder than it might be? Yes.

Apart from bringing on Costa (a forced substitution mind) as opposed to just about any of the other subs (including Casilla!), I'm struggling to see just what you should be "disgusted" about (And if you are, then you're a bit thin skinned for an aussie (In my experience of that species).

Tell it like it is, and today we were by far the better team, playing against opposition who have every expectation of being in Europe next season.

Just a few who represent all the team today; I've been completely converted by Bamford, his work rate is phenomenal and even if he doesn't hit the net every time, I'd have him in the side over just about anyone we have been connected with as per strikers go. Alioski gets stick on a regular basis and I fail to see why, not just on todays performance but overall. Struijk, now being given real game time and showing just why that is required, todays mature performance was just the start of good things (and yes, he will blunder, every player in every club does!!). Dallas, what can you say? Play him in positions he likes to play in (not always the same, just where he is comfortable) and he will ALWAYS deliver. Raphina, best transfer in a LONG time (including Meslier). Meslier, is so composed for a lad of his age, not even 21 yet, and in a position where any and every mistake will cost the side, not the best transfer in, but certainly in the top 2!.

And as I say, they represent the side, I could give just as many names and each and every one did what we expect them to do. will they do it against Everton? Who knows, or is that your beef, that every game HAS to be like that? When they lose, we can beat them up, but when they win like today, just what is there to whinge about?

As for your tipping, glad that's going well for you.

Have to agree with everything. My thoughts exactly especially players mentioned. My only "whinge" is that Rodrigo and Raphinha appear to have got injured.

I thought Cooper had a solid game too. Didn't notice much credit heading his way in this thread, so thought I'd chip in!

One of the other names I could have made reference to, solid team performance and oh what would you give to be in that team!😉

You don't have to agree, but if you differed you'd be wrong!, 😉

Just is pi55 oz off (maybe), I agree about the injuries, hopefully just strains and nothing that will stop them turning out against the toffees.
