As much as I despise Gordon Brown, the bailout of the banks caused the huge financial deficit in the late 00s, labour actually were running the economy on a small surplus around 2006/2007, before the crash. Contrast that with the tories who have added £1.5trn to the UK debt at the same time killing hundreds of thousands through ... drum roll for rros ... tory austerity

You're not going to believe this one.

Mother in law took a bit of a turn yesterday and father in law phoned the doctor - doctor managed to shift her arse out to her today. Mother in law has COPD, has had it for years, she doesn't keep well and as I've said previously usually she's whipped into hospital when she has a turn, no questions asked just straight in - should probably be grateful the doctor came out next day really.

Anyhoo, doctor's in the house and the old bat coughs, she's got COPD FFS sometimes she coughs, doctor immediately says mother in law must have a Covid test - the Covid test was never on the agenda until she coughed. Did I mention that she has COPD and sometimes coughs.

Why she now needs a Covid test after nearly a year simply because she coughed once in front of a doctor is way beyond me. Maybe our resident expert medical troll could answer that, I won't know if he does however because I have him on ignore.

On another note I was watching ITV news there and I see that Captain Tom's in hospital with Covid. What do the NHS do? That's right, around twenty or so of them get together and do a get well soon Tik Tok video for him. How nice. Meantime if you have COPD don't expect the level of treatment that you got a year ago.

Absolutely raging that his beloved tories are getting some criticism, even though he's been slagging them off for a year himself
