    Tonight’s defeat

    I told you so.

Nothing quite beats a negative post to start the day eh. 😂

If our new signings do not play, it has defeat written all over it, I’m afraid. Last game we managed to string 15-20 acceptable minutes together - the rest just awful. S U on the other hand have looked impressive and were highly praised by Guardiola. Burke on a hat trick!? 😳😱😬

They do look to be back close to their form of last season but they don’t score many goals, that said we have by far the worst defence in living memory. Could be a high scoring game then...

Sheff Utd are well organised battlers.
Probably too soon for the new lads signed yesterday
So I don’t expect some of the old faithful to have somehow drastically improved overnight.
We may get a goal, maybe with a bit of luck two
But I suspect but they will outfight us in midfield and in the box and score more.

I am hoping that with new signings in the wings waiting to play, then tonights team will put in a shift to impress the manager. Mind you, I did say hoping!

We need to get the starting 11 and tactics right, on Saturday they were wrong and we were lucky to still be in the game at half time, it's a game both teams need to win so will probably end 0-0.

Unfortunately that is the most accurate pre match assessment of the Albion's chances I have read in a long time.

Let's hope it turns out to be wildly inaccurate.
