Dnt know how to copy and past on here. He stated on the 25th January in the Scotsman when using his soup analogy that he was not actively pursuing anyone. I know not quite not bringing anyone in but we see can read from that it wasn’t going to happen. He also stated in another article that if the right player came along he wld speak to the club about it. Anyway we are where we are. Let’s hope for a decent recent result tonight.

Can't remember that but fair enough. Presumably he'd already been told no one was coming in so he was setting expectations in the fan base.

If the manger's been told prior to the window that we won't be signing anyone regardless, then its unlikely he's then going to say to the press he wants to being someone in.

Fair enough mate. But surely our financial plight isn’t any worse than some of the other clubs who have just strengthened. Surely we are not any more skint than these clubs. Especially with a 1.6mill loan just round the corner? But that’s another argument.

We've been paying Premiership wages while living on Championship scraps for a good few years so I'd imagine we'll be tightening the belt accordingly.

This loan is probably paying off debts.......but I'll pop next door and see if they can confirm this.
