Yes! That's the way every player in the team, every member of staff at the club, every supporter at home should be thinking. The problem is far too many of them are like the RedTV commentary team with their usual rubbish "the manager will be quite happy to have made it to have time at 0-0" or "I suppose a draw against St Mirren isn't a bad result is it?" or "there's a lot to like about the dons today" (usually when we're 2 nil down), or "third place is still up for grabs" (as if it's the equivalent of winning the Champions League).
The truth if we hadn't been absolutely stinking for the majority of this season we should be second in the league just now, possibly by quite a few points. Missed opportunities time and time again because there's no belief in the team. Buck stops with the manager on that one - and you could say the captain must take some responsibility for instilling that too once they're out on the park. Our manager and captain are hugely uninspiring.
