I unfortunately remember being present at the last cup tie between us and H&W, in the FA Cup. The chants of 'you're not fit to wear the shirts' still echo in my ears as we were beaten by a goal scored by a dustbin man featuring Pilkington diving over the ball. That and names like 'Dudfield', 'Silk' and 'Canoville' send a shiver down my spine. But then I suppose even then we were still in the football league.
Anyway I reckon we'll wrap this up fairly comfortably with a 3-0 win with Sam, Knowles and Wolfe the scorers. They haven't played for some time and Ardley tends to play decent squads in general in cup competitions. I hope the likes of Wolfe and Knowles get some solid playing time, you'd hope they will be raring to go and show Neal why they should get a chance in a league game.

Whatever the result , at least Ardley cant blame the grass this weekend !
Them 0 Us 2
Rather be playing a league game than wasting another Saturday in this cup that probably won't get the chance to finish.
Has last year's competition ended yet?
0-2.
1-0 to them, dire performance by Notts. Concentrate on league etc.
Yeh a bit surprised about how confident people are about this one. Are we really that good?
Not really but we can focus on league would be the excuse paraded by the disciples and their entourage.
But to be honest on this occasion I would agree with them.
But in all honesty there is no way in the world we should be loosing a game like this , or even be dominated and made to look daft.
None of the above should happen but with NA and his negative approach there's always a sniff of it in the air I'm afraid.
