Think its more a confidence issue. More hesitant and indecisive. Getting a goal would help. But agree, a lot of poor layoffs etc. When confidence down, always thinks its best to simplify (e.g. always think the “dink” is the 7out of 10 shot in one on ones).

Been on top and shanks missed a few very good chances.

I expect though that hughes will lay into them and they will come up firing second half.

We need to be ready for them. Not concede and look to win this when we deserve to

    Come on United !!!!

We need a win - it has been so long

Spot on with those 3 players. Decent team performance so far. Shankland being starved of ammo for so long is now showing in his confidence. McNulty ? I'm beginning to have my doubts, happy to be proved wrong though.

Edwards.............. First choice CB every week for me, actually wants to get involved and win balls as opposed to waiting to see if it might be his job to do so. We did let one similar go...

Same effort 2nd half we should get something .......

This is so frustrating, we have played well but just not taken our chances, has a sickening inevitability about it. Be hard for us to maintain this for another 45, County surely going to have a spell of sustained pressure at some point, prob get a Hughes blast and come out pumped up for second half and fancy their chances as we chucked a fair bit at them and not scored. We've just got to try keep it going, subs could be key

I'd usually say 'that's what subs are for' but Mellon doesn't seem to use them.
