Posted this many times going right back to relegation and then to promotion again that Dyche would need to learn to change shape , alter personnel and have the ability to step back and see situation s developing in front of him ( I realise that this is me criticising a premiership manager ).

I've played at a good level and played for tactically aware managers who saw things and changed to counteract ( that's at counties level - not premiership ).

Dyche is still very rigid 442 and built defensive, but to his credit to now he's kept us in this league .

May be some of that is down to our limited squad and he feels see get murdered outside his rigidity.

I'm more for players who can play expressing themselves , even when that means cocking up or losing possession , against Brighton it looked to me like he just released the reigns two notches and we looked a different proposition.

The game before at Chelsea he left Peters exposed to Hudson Odio with no cover at all from Brady or McNeil , did he see it ? Did he think what we produced was acceptable ? Who knows.

What I do know is as above he keeps pulling out of the hat , it isn't pretty but he seems to keep us up.
