    No he would not have left wimbledon in a higher league , because if they had stayed they would have been relegated

    So it must be all the financial freedom at Notts, that causing him the trouble
    The real thing is Ardley had no pressure at wimbledon, they were a little club not expecting to do much, so years of mediocre was acceptable. Its a completely different story at Notts, where the pressure is on him, years of mediocre is not acceptable , especially in the national league
