Sorry NOR, but I can’t believe anyone who has watched the demise of AFC over 25 years under his watch can defend the wigless buffoon in anyway.
In much the same way as a stopped clock is right twice a day, It’s actually easier and much quicker to list his good decisions.
He did back going with Sky rather than Setanta in that TV deal that went tits up.
He did appoint DM, who did a good job for the first 3-4 years despite what anyone says. The last contract undid that good work though.
Calderwood was passable for a few years.
He also guaranteed the debt (that he caused) for many years. Didn’t pay it off naturally, but still.
I’ve seen no evidence of him putting in millions. I’ve no doubt he put in some cash, but millions? I’ll need some convincing.
If he did though it actually compounds his ineptitude. He put millions into making us that bad? Fuuck me.
That man ruined my best AFC watching years (late t’eens / 20’s) as we were a joke outfit pretty much all that time - all down to him and his decisions.
All that before Rangers died. After that he just got worse.
Even without any of that, the disgraceful, spineless decision to vote with the fuuckin Tims and keep 11-1 voting, thus removing the only chance we’ll ever get to take control of the game away from those two, is simply unforgivable on its own.
That has condemned us and all diddies to being also rans forever. Nothing will ever change & that’s all down to Milne.
Ok nothing might have changed anyway, probably wouldn’t have if we’re honest, but we’ll never know - and to not even want to try? Shameful.
So yes, I fuucking detest the man. I’m not usually that way about people, but for him I make an exception. I actually get angry thinking about him. Stupid I know, but there you go.
I don’t give a fuuck if he’s a nice guy and a dons fan. I hate what he’s done to my club, but most of all, I hate how he’s made me feel about my club...
