We should never had let go of Megson last time he came in to step in, I for one would like him given the rest of the season to mitigate some of these shameful and shambolic performances.
So you would accept Megson's style of play? which if i remember rightly was not to dissimilar to Sam's, don't get me wrong Sir Gary was a great manager and exactly what we needed at the time, what we actually need is a manger who has a style of play that suit's the players we have at the club, we sacked Pulis and brought in Pardew and tried to change the style that was never going to work and we have done exactly the same with sacking Billic and bringing in Allardyce we don't have the players to change the style.

SGM just as a short term solution. Not the ideal style but it’s what is needed to stop the leaky goals, bearing in mind we are already down. Didn’t we get Hodgson right after Matteo got axed?

We did but do you have any confidence with our current set up to appoint the manager we need ? and then give him the funds that will be needed to rebuild the squad.

I like many have lost confidence in this squad but a part of me tells me that with the right manager in a normal season might have worked well with this squad. I really though FS would have made us difficult to beat especially against sides not in the top 6. He’s failed to do that or show any progress that I personally cannot trust him.
Whether he’s here just for a pay off, who knows. It’s why i’d rather have SGM in some caretaker charge role, he’d at least try to make the defence tighter and perhaps had picked wisely in the last window. It just looks as though FS is just doing what he can to money grab and go when he wants, he won’t have any fans to answer to.
